1. How to measure watch bands with straight fittings correctly
If you have a watch with straight fittings, you can choose between a huge variety of straps in our shop. You will simply need to refine your search by selecting the appropriate lug width
(that is, the width of the strap at the watch case), as well as the colour and the band thickness at the clasp or buckle
(this only in case you wished to re-use your old one).
1.1. How to measure the lug width and the buckle width
In addition, we categorise our watch bands according to the desired type of clasp. Here you will find the classic buckle (with pin), but also watch straps with different deployment clasps and butterfly clasps. In order to reach the appropriate category, please click on one of the following photos.
1.2. Types of buckles for watch straps
Alternatively, you could proceed as follows in order to find a watch band:
- measure the appropriate strap width and then select it on our web site (see photo 1.1)
- select the desired type of clasp (see photo 1.2)
- select the desired colour (see „Improve your search“)
You can choose any of these options in the appropriate strap category through our filters and find the watch band you are looking for.
2. Watch bands with special fittings
If your watch, however, has a special fitting (that is, if the strap is not straight at the watch case), it will not be so easy. In this case only the original watch bands by the same manufacturer of the watch usually fit.
We have a steadily growing range of products also in this case. For example, you can find items by the following manufacturers:
Casio, Skagen, LOTUS and Festina.
We wrote detailed descriptions for each manufacturer that will help you find the model reference of your wristwatch.
You will in fact need this number in order to find the suitable replacement band in the right section.
Below you can find the links to manufacturer-specific instructions on how to identify and find the suitable strap fast and easily.
